MixShuffle ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Stellar Sound, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our web-based audio comparison tool at mixshuffle.com.

Information You Provide

Support inquiries: When you contact us through the Support form, we receive your email address, subject, and message. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Email signup: If you sign up for launch notifications, we collect your email address to notify you when MixShuffle 2.0 launches. You can unsubscribe at any time.

2. Audio Files and Cloud Storage

Local uploads: Audio files you upload directly from your device are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to our servers or stored anywhere.

Google Drive and Dropbox: When you import audio from Google Drive or Dropbox, we use OAuth to obtain temporary access to only the specific files you select via the file picker. Files are streamed through our secure proxy to your browser for playback. We do not store, log, or retain your audio files or cloud storage contents. We cannot access any files you have not explicitly selected. Access is used only for the duration of your session.

3. Data Retention

Support form submissions and email signups are retained only as long as needed to fulfill the purpose (e.g., responding to support requests or sending launch notifications).
Blind test results, notes, and audio files exist only in your browser memory and are never sent to our servers.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We may use localStorage to remember your preferences (e.g., gain match settings). No cookies are used. You can clear localStorage in your browser settings at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

We use:

Netlify for hosting and form handling
Google and Dropbox for cloud file import (OAuth only)

Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. We do not use any client-side analytics or tracking tools.
